Research Subjects Review Board Training

The Warner School is providing an RSRB training course to all dissertation-level students. Courses have been scheduled for the following dates: January 25, February 29, March 28, and April 25.

The courses will be held in Dewey Hall 1-315 from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Students beginning the dissertation process must receive approval from the University’s review board (RSRB) before they can begin to conduct their research or collect any data.  Many students find the process to be both daunting and confusing, as it is now fully electronic and requires multiple forms to complete.  Attending a Warner-sponsored RSRB training is REQUIRED before one submits a protocol to RSRB.

You will learn important aspects of the RSRB process that will significantly reduce the time for your protocol to receive approval by the RSRB.

Please PRINT and BRING the following 148 page volume (RSRB Investigator Guidance) to the course:  http://www.urmc.rochester.edu/rsrb/pdf/invguidance.pdfUnfortunately, we cannot provide multiple copies of such a large volume.

If you have a laptop set up to use the wireless system in Warner, please bring it with you. We will make sure all of you are correctly registered in the RSRB system.

RSVP to Alfred Vitale at avitale@warner.rochester.edu or (585) 275- 8270.
