Kirschenbaum
Contributes to "Unusual Cases"
Howard Kirschenbaum, chair of counseling and human development, is a contributor
to the recently published book The Mummy at the Dining Room Table: Eminent
Therapists Reveal Their Most Unusual Cases (Wiley, John & Sons, Incorporated,
January 2003). In the book, over 30 well known practitioners recount the
most memorable case histories of their careers. Each chapter gives a behind-the-scenes
look at how therapists work with clients whose problems and behaviors
aren't found in standard psychology textbooks. Kirschenbaum contributed
the chapter titled The client who wanted his therapist to be someone else.
