Professional Development Groups Forming

The Warner Center for Professional Development and Education Reform offers ongoing professional development groups for school and community counselors. Two groups forming this spring are the 21st Century Counselor and Counselor Colleague Circles (C3's).

The 21st Century Counselor is an ongoing peer supervision and consultation group for practicing counselors who would like to share cases, learn from colleagues and cultivate new directions for their professional practice or personal growth. Groups will consist of six to eight members and a facilitator who meet monthly for two hours beginning this month.
The Counselor Colleague Circles are small groups of counselors who are engaged in their own professional development and gather to support each others' learning and success. Counselors gather every other month and use a variety of activities and formats including readings, discussions, peer coaching and consultation and materials development. Groups are forming now for Spring 2003.
