The Warner Word
The Warner School

Meet Aimee Lewis

The Warner Web site will be getting a complete redesign this year, thanks to one of the Warner School's newest additions to staff, Aimee Lewis. Aimee has been named the Warner School communications coordinator.

Aimee has extensive experience in both higher education and in communications. Originally from Corning, NY, she received her B.A. in journalism/mass communications from Lock Haven University in Lock Haven, PA and has held Web management and communications positions at three higher education institutions: Dickinson College, the University of Tennessee, and most recently at Oak Ridge Associated Universities/Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education.

Upon relocating to the Rochester area with her husband Chris, a materials engineer at Delphi, Aimee sought a position at the Warner School. "I believe in higher education, and teaching runs in my family. My mother and father, my aunt, and my brother and sister-in-law have all been teachers. The Warner School seemed like a perfect fit for me."

Aimee LewisIn addition to the Web site redesign plan, Aimee will play a key role in other public relations and marketing projects. She will act as an advisor in a campaign to improve internal contributor to the Warner Word, the Warner Educator, and other electronic and print publications.

"I'm very excited about the plans we have to improve our internal and external communications vehicles," says Aimee, "and I look forward to getting to know and working with the faculty and staff here at Warner."
