| Where in the World is Warner on the Web? Over the next few months, Warner School faculty, staff, and students will be seeing a lot of Aimee Lewis. Aimee will be gaining input and gathering information for the development of the new Warner Web site.
The Warner Web site will be completely overhauled to better meet internal and external communications needs. The first part of this process includes learning more about target audiences—primarily prospective and current students, but also faculty, staff, alumni, and friends. To gain a better understanding of the audiences, Aimee is interviewing students, faculty, and staff and creating audience profiles. She is also talking with various groups to learn more about the current uses for the Warner site and to define specific goals for the new site. This information will be used to determine the content and structure of the new site.
The next step in the process will result in the formation of Web teams, including an execution team and an advisory team. The advisory team will be made up of Warner faculty, staff, and students. At various stages in the process, the implementation team will present plans and information to the advisory team. Progress
on the project and meeting information will be publicized through e-mail
and future issues of the Word.
