Admissions Team Assembled

We begin the 2002-03 academic year with a new team in the Warner School Admissions Office. Carrie Remis Rall has been appointed Director of Admissions, effective September 1. Carrie came to the Warner School in May 2001 as our Communications/Marketing Coordinator, and has served as Acting Director of Admissions since June. Carrie, who previously worked at the Eastman School, as a freelance communications specialist, and at the Nature Conservancy has extensive experience in marketing, development, and businesses processes redesign. She brings renewed energy and a fresh perspective to the Warner School's marketing, recruitment, and admissions operation. Carrie will be responsible for the development and execution of a strategic plan to achieve the Warner School's aggressive recruitment and marketing goals. Carrie will also be working closely with the faculty and dean to review and establish admissions policies and procedures, and improve our admissions processes.

Carrie and Secretary/Receptionist Terrie Hughes have been joined by Melissa Head Lucas, who began at the Warner School on September 16 as an Admissions Counselor. Melissa, who has admissions experience from St. John Fisher College and the Rochester Business Institute, is a 1999 graduate of the Warner School's master's program in higher education. She was, most recently, a senior examiner and case manager with the Monroe County Department of Social Services. Melissa will be our primary recruitment officer in the field and will devote much of her time to counseling and interviewing prospective students.
