Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Human Development Accelerated Option (ISIS code: HD0)

This program is intended for experienced practitioners in areas related to human development who are interested in improving their practice and advancing in their career.

Program key features:

  • Required and elective coursework to be completed in two years – 6 consecutive semesters starting in summer – in a specified sequence (assuming transfer of 36 credits of prior graduate coursework)
  • Field-based dissertation, to be completed in the third year of the program with the support of a dissertation seminar
  • Three-year (9 semesters) cohort experience, supported by a cohort seminar in the first two years and a dissertation seminar in the third and last year
