Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership (K-12) Accelerated Option (ISIS code: AA9)

This program is intended for experienced educational leaders in K-12 schools – such as principals, curriculum coordinators, assistant superintendents, superintendents and other school leaders – holding a professional job in the field and interested in improving their practice and advancing in their career.

Program key features:

  • Required and elective coursework that can be completed in as little as two years – if a specified sequence is followed and assuming transfer of 36 credits of prior graduate coursework
  • Field-based dissertation (program evaluation or decision-making), to be completed in the last year of the program with the support of a dissertation seminar
