Once accepted into a cohort, students need to maintain the pace indicated above. If unforeseen personal or professional events cause a student to require a leave of absence, the situation needs to be discussed with the advisor in order to determine whether the student needs to move to the regular Ed.D. program or whether there are better alternative solutions.
