Preparing Entry-Level Elementary (Early Childhood and Childhood) Teachers

What kind of educator do you want to be?
The Warner School's faculty and students are immersed in early childhood and elementary education and research. Faculty and students work with preschoolers and their teachers to reach new levels of understanding. Our master's degrees focusing on Early Childhood Education (birth to grade 2) or Elementary education (grades 1-6) prepare teachers for all subjects at the appropriate age levels. The Warner School believes Elementary and Early Childhood education teachers need to have a deep understanding of their subjects, as well as child development. Warner's programs are interdisciplinary in both content and process and they explore current research on teaching and learning. Our students understand how to develop appropriate curriculum and instructional strategies for meeting the diverse learning needs of all students.
