Programs Preparing Entry-Level Teachers
If you are interested in entering the field of teaching, we offer Master's programs leading to teaching certification in most of the areas of specializations recognized by the New York State Education Department. Because our teacher preparation programs are at the Master level, they all enable you to fulfill all the academic requirements needed to obtain both Initial and Professional Teaching Certification.

If you are interested in teaching in inclusive/special education settings, please note that all Elementary and Secondary specializations listed below include options for obtaining dual certification in Teaching Students with Disabilities in the same area and grade level.
