What kind of educator do you want to be?
At the Warner School, we strive to prepare Latin teachers
who understand that learning Latin develops key literacy and
linguistic skills and are familiar with best practices and
curricula for teaching Latin. Based on research about how
people learn and what is most effective in preparing teachers,
we have designed our programs to deepen your understanding
of Latin while learning about innovative and effective methods
to teach Latin, as well as help you develop a teaching approach
that is grounded in knowledge of the research, theory, issues
and trends in Latin education.
The Warner School's programs are flexible to accommodate
the interests of individual students. Through coursework,
field experiences, and projects, programs can be tailored
to focus on a specific certification area or multiple areas.
