Offering state-of-the-art programs for preparing education
practitioners in a critical component of the Margaret Warner
Graduate School of Education and Human Development's mission
to prepare knowledgeable and capable practitioners, as well
as Warner's efforts to improve the quality of education in
schools.
Using "best practices" in decision making, the
Warner School revised its doctoral programs in educational
leadership to help prepare school leaders with better decision-making
skills. It is Warner's hope that as school leaders are well-prepared
to make decisions, schools will become more effective and
create better learning opportunities for students.
This radically new program, supported by the Wallace Foundation,
includes new coursework and internships, as well as a capstone
experience alternative to the traditional dissertation.
