Implementing Contemporary Mathematics In Context (Year 1)

Participants: Anyone interested in and/or teaching first year high school mathematics
Cost: $450/participant *Fee is covered for participants from the University of Rochester MSP Project schools

In this introductory institute participants will see an overview of the Contemporary Mathematics in Context program (also known as "CORE-Plus) and how it aligns with the revised New York State Performance Indicators; learn to implement Year 1 units I, II, and III; and review the assessment component of the program. In addition, facilitators will share their insight on implementation and adoption issues and how to work with parents and the community.
