New Medical Center CEO Named

A national search led to the selection of Bradford C. Berk ’81M (MD/PhD) as senior vice president for health sciences and CEO of the Medical Center.

Berk, renowned for his research into the cellular mechanisms that cause heart disease, says, “I have been given a many opportunities by the University and feel that this is my chance to contribute to its future.”

He succeeds C. McCollister Evarts ’57M (MD), ’64M (Res), who had been senior vice president and CEO since 2003.
