The Multimedia Center in Rush Rhees Library offers the following specialized equipment:
- A PC-based information access text-reading machine which includes Open Book, Zoomtext, and Jaws. The equipment
scans printed materials and verbalizes text displayed on the screen.

- SmartView, a camera unit with a computer interface enlarges text
up to 50 times and displays images in color, black-and-white, or
reverse image.

- The Juliet Pro 60 Braille embosser which includes a Duxbury Braille translator prints on both sides of a page
with a 40-character wide embossing line and 60 character per second
productivity.
