Volunteer Spotlight

Across the nation and around the world, there are hundreds of University of Rochester parents who are supporting the University’s mission to Learn, Discover, Heal, Create—and make the world ever better. And their partnership—demonstrated in a variety of ways—has been invaluable to our success.

“I believe that volunteering with the Parents Council is important because I’m thankful for my son’s UR experience, and I enjoy doing my part to ensure that future students will also flourish at the University. Making welcome calls to families of incoming UR students in my area or hosting an event have been great ways to do that.”

“As Parents Council members, we support programs that enhance the educational experience for our son, his classmates, and future generations of students. Our involvement keeps up closely connected to the University and allows us to be a resource for other Rochester families. It’s been a tremendously rewarding opportunity.”
