2008 Highlights... Big Changes are Imminent!

Since the initial OASIS Go Live on May 1, 2007, the Advancement team has been working incredibly hard to learn, use, and improve the Biographic Inquiry and Prospect Management modules of OASIS. But, it's only the beginning...

Ever since August, the OASIS team and many Advancement colleagues have been busily designing, building and testing the next phase of OASIS functionality. On July 1, 2008, Gift Processing, Biographic Inquiry, Membership and Stewardship will all Go Live in OASIS. At the same time, FIST and Impromptu will be taken offline and new reporting tools will become available.

Below is a summary of each new module and some information on what OASIS customers can expect in regards to each between now and July.

Phase III OASIS Modules—July 1, 2008 Go Live

Biographic Update

• Maintenance of all constituent data moves to OASIS as FIST is retired
• Real-time update capabilities
• OASIS is THE system of record!

What to Expect...

• More capacity to track relevant constituent information

Gift Processing

• New gift counting rules and business processes take affect
• Greater flexibility in counting and reporting
• All donor information found in one convenient location

What to Expect...

• In-depth business process training especially for fundraisers
Hands-on OASIS training targeted to user needs

Stewardship

• Capacity to monitor and track detailed information necessary to appropriately steward donors, keeping them committed to the University’s mission and vision

What to Expect...

• Ability to create and execute detailed donor-centric stewardship plans within OASIS
• Recipient information and fund values available within OASIS

Reporting

• New reporting tools with improved user interfaces (to replace Impromptu)
• Greater access to data

• TRAINING!

Membership

• Sophisticated membership tracking and management tools especially for use at the Memorial Art Gallery

• Access to MAG member info
