• Letterwinner and starter for basketball sophomore through senior years
• Led the team in scoring and assists as a senior, finished third in rebounding
• Won the Rufus Hedges Trophy
• Four years as the starting catcher for the baseball team
• Team captain as a senior
• Offered a professional contract by the St. Louis Cardinals

Post-Graduate:

• Had a six-month career in the U.S. Army
• Began as a salesman for IBM and Honeywell which evolved into the computer leasing business where he has spent the last three decades
• Currently part-owner and President of Com-Lease, Inc. and BW Financial Corp., located in Hackensack, NJ, specializing in vendor program leasing, telecommunication and intermodal tank car leasing
