- Three letters a piece in basketball and baseball, and one for football
- Captained the unbeaten 1941-42 basketball team
- Held a Prize Scholarship
- President of the senior class
- Graduated in 1942 with a baccalaureate degree in Mechanical Engineering
Post-Graduate:
- Worked at the Wright Aeronautical Corporation and the National Advisory Committee for
Aeronautics
- Taught engineering at Case Institute of Technology where he earned a Master's Degree in
1950
- Moved to the Goodyear Aerospace Corporation in 1951
- Served as project manager on military and NASA hardware test programs
- Promoted to Manager of New Product Development departments
- Appointed as a corporate representative on a testing standards panel established by the
American Society of Mechanical Engineers
- Active in United Way fund drives
- Retired in 1986
