• Playing captain with the golf team in 1952, 1953, and 1954 seasons
• Led squad to an undefeated, untied season in 1953-54
• In 1953, he shot a 67 in the Club Championship at the Oak Hill East Course which was the second lowest amateur score and one stroke off the amateur record of 66

Post-Graduate:

• Furthered his education at the University of Miami in Florida and at the Albany Law School in Albany, NY
• President and Director, Bank of Philadelphia
• President, Chairman of the Board, and Director, Finger Lakes National Bank
• Brighton Town Councilman for eight years
• Since 1978, he has been the Secretary of the League of the Iroquois, the oldest continuous golf league in the world, comprised of four golf clubs: Oak Hill (Rochester, NY), Yahnundasis (Utica, NY), Bellevista (Syracuse, NY), and Wanakah (Buffalo, NY)
• Honored by the Elmira Jaycees, the Gannett Foundation, the J.R. Williams Order of Merit from the Oak Hill Country Club, and mention in Fortune magazine's list of Top Business Executives as the youngest commercial bank president at age 32.
