Brian Lang was the Yellowjackets top finisher, completing the 8K race in 26:35.34 (seventh place). He was 30 seconds behind the winner, NYU’s Zach Maher.
James Vavra finished in 20th place with a time of 27:10.31. Dane Lane (27:15.74), Jonathan Pinto (27:38.83) and Jason Zayac (28:33.49) round out Rochester’s top five finishers. Lane finished in 24th place, Pinto finished in 31st place (scored in 30th), and Zayac finished in 58th overall (scored in 51st).
As a team, Rochester finished with 132 points, ahead of the University of Chicago and Case Western Reserve. NYU won the meet with 41 points.
