Rochester finished second out of 15 teams. The Yellowjackets had 56 points, finishing behind Geneseo (39), but ahead of Cornell University (60) and the University of Western Ontario (74), the next two finishers.
Brian Lang led the pack for the Yellowjackets. He was clocked in 25:02 and was the third individual runner to cross the finish line. Dan Lane was sixth overall with a time of 25:17. James Vavra ran to a 25:28 finish and was ninth.
Craig Baumgtartner was clocked in 25:44, finishing 15th. Jon Pinto scored in 23rd place with a time of 25:58. The displacers were Jason Zayac in 29th place (26:33) and Tyler Kieft in 33rd place (26:40).
Rochester will host the New York State Collegiate Track Conference Cross Country Championships for men and women on October 24 at Genesee Valley Park.
