As the women's rowing program begins its first season as a varsity sport at the University, the team has a steady hand guding it on the water.

Will Greene has spent five seasons coaching the Yellowjacket rowers on the club sport level. He is a 1988 graduate of the University. He joined the program as a freshman in 1984, bereft of rowing experience.

Upon graduation in 19888, he served in the United States Navy, then returned to graduate school at Villanova University in Philadelphia. During his days at Villanova, Greene rowed for the Pennsylvania Athletic Club, a club that supports athletes with National-team level aspirations.

Greene competed in numerous National Team selection regattas as well as internationally,. He coached on the collegiate level with Villanova and the University of Pennsylvania women.

Following his retirement as a competitive oarsman, Greene worked as an attorney with several law firms in the Philadelphia area. AFter seven years on the legal front, he returned to Rochester to coach both the men's and women's club sport programs.
