Students may earn both a degree in the Hajim School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and a B.A. or B.S. degree in a chosen liberal arts or science major. These students essentially complete a program similar to a two-college program, but do so entirely at the University of Rochester. Dual degrees require significant work beyond the normal requirements of a four-year program, and all degree requirements for both programs must be satisfied. Any extension past the normal four-year time span will not be tuition free. Students may earn two bachelor degrees from the Hajim School of Engineering and Applied Sciences; however, the interdepartmental B.S. program may not be one of the two degrees unless approved by the Administrative Committee.
