Our Students

University of Rochester students work with and are trained by professors who are committed teachers as well as acclaimed researchers. Our unique academic programs, fostering interaction between researchers and students, draw national attention.

The distinctive Rochester Curriculum—comprising majors, minors, and “clusters” of thematically linked courses—produces students well versed in a variety of subjects. They are eager to learn more and are trained to blend research, analysis, and communication skills.
