Brief Description of What You Do: Currently, I am a research fellow at the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute of the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland and I study lipid metabolism to better understand cholesterol diseases.

Any Other Interesting Details You Would Like To Share: During the academic years, I was a research assistant under Dr. Axel Wismueller MD PhD, in the department of biomedical engineering and I co-authored a manuscript titled, "Prediction of Biomechanical Properties of Trabecular Bone in MR Images with Geometric Features and Support Vector Regression." I won the Deans' Award for Undergraduate Research and was on the Deans' List for academic performance. Additionally, I was a teaching assistant for three courses in biology and biomedical engineering. As well as a calculus tutor.
