IntenTrak/NIC Internships

InternTRAK is University of Rochester's consortium internship and job database powered by MonsterTRAK. *This is a separate database from yoURCareerLink. Internships reside here along with those of peer institutions who have joined the Nationwide Internships Consortium (NIC) to give you access to thousands of internships in most career fields and many geographic locations, both nationally and internationally.

The following institutions are members of NIC:
Claremont McKenna College, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Harvey Mudd College, Johns Hopkins University, Lewis & Clark College, Mills College, Occidental College, Pitzer College, Pomona College, Reed College, Santa Clara University, Scripps College, University of Chicago, University of Puget Sound, University of Rochester, and Whitman College.

Logging on to InternTRAK:

1. At the prompt above, enter the password (urtrak).
   Note: You do not need to register with MonsterTRAK.
2. Click Submit and you will see the search page.
3. Click Internships & Monstertrak Jobs.
4. Select Internship/Externship from the choices under the category Job Type.
5. Make other selections (i.e., "job category" and "job location").
   Note: Do not use the "limit jobs searched" section.
6. You will notice that descriptions have a Submit Resume button at the bottom, which you should ignore.  Unless there are other specific instructions on how to apply in the description, you should inquire about the internship by calling or sending e-mail to the contact person.
