On-Campus Interviewing for Students
Each year employers visit our campus to interview candidates for full-time, internship and industry practicum opportunities. Information on employers and postings can be accessed via CareerLink.
On-campus Interviewing is a specialized approach used by large employers who seek to interview soon to be graduates for post-baccalaureate opportunities, and on occasion internships. Be an informed user of these offerings, but never depend upon them for all of your job search needs, nor be frustrated by the very specific nature of on-campus activities. We encourage you to become active participants in on-campus recruiting and information session offerings.
* Often, the most attractive employers within the most challenging and rewarding fields do not visit campuses. These organizations want individual candidates to show initiative and demonstrate some of the dynamic communication skills required to succeed via self-initiated contacts. Learn how to identify prospective employers and the best methods for making initial and follow up communications. CareerLink deadlines, postings and on-campus listings may serve as “inspirations.”
