Academy for Urban School Leadership – 12 month teacher preparation and certification program in Chicago Public Schools.

Baltimore City Teaching Residency – The Resident Teaching Certificate was created to allow outstanding individuals with no previous education coursework the opportunity to teach while taking graduate-level education credits to achieve a Standard Professional Teaching Certificate (SPC I).

Boston Teacher Residency – BTR is a one-year urban teacher preparation and certification program developed as part of Boston’s aggressive commitment to improving instruction in every classroom.

Citizen Schools – A teaching fellowship with Citizen Schools provides recent graduates with a two year, fulltime, paid fellowship focusing on the burgeoning field of out-of-school time education.

DC Teaching Fellows – The DC Teaching Fellows is currently mobilizing talented, motivated individuals to become teachers in DC Public Schools. Use your skills and knowledge to impact the lives of children in the city. Fellows will hold full time teacher jobs while earning their certification and master’s degrees.

Denver Teaching Fellows – As a Fellow, you will become part of a dynamic and dedicated network of new educational leaders, working with other progressive educators in Denver to raise academic achievement in Denver Public Schools.

Indianapolis Teaching Fellows – Indianapolis Teaching Fellows provides a clear path into the classroom for exceptional individuals looking to become teachers in Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS).

Inner City Teacher Corps – ICTC is a volunteer service program that places outstanding recent college graduates as classroom teachers in Chicago’s inner-city parochial schools.

KSTF Teaching Fellowships – KSTF Teaching Fellows are young men and women who have received a bachelor’s or advanced degree in science, engineering or mathematics and are committed to teaching high school science and/or mathematics in U.S. schools. The fellowship supports them professionally and financially for up to five years through a teacher preparation program to eligibility for tenure.

The Massachusetts Initiative for New Teachers – MINT is an intensive teacher preparation program that provides a unique opportunity for the most qualified and motivated recent college graduates and mid-career professionals to make an immediate impact in the classrooms.

MATCH Corps – Similar to AmeriCorps, MATCH Corps is an ambitious, intensive, one-on-one tutoring program designed to fully close the Achievement Gap between minority and non-minority students, and between economically disadvantaged students and their more advantaged peers.

Memphis Teaching Fellows – Memphis Teaching Fellows is an opportunity for motivated, high-achieving professionals and recent college graduates from all backgrounds to revitalize the Memphis education system by becoming teachers with Memphis City Schools.

Mississippi Teacher Corps – The two-year program, designed for non-education majors, recruits college graduates to teach in the Mississippi Delta and offers a host of benefits, including teacher training and certification, a full scholarship for a master’s degree in education, job placement that includes full pay and benefits and, most importantly, the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students in one of the poorest areas of the country.

Oakland Teaching Fellows – This program is designed to attract only the most outstanding individuals to increase students’ academic achievement as teachers in the Oakland Unified School District (OUSD).

Philadelphia Teaching Fellows – Philadelphia Teaching Fellows recruits outstanding professionals and recent graduates to teach in the School District of Philadelphia.

Prince George’s County Teaching Fellows - The Prince George’s County Teaching Fellows is a highly selective program looking for individuals- both professionals and recent graduates- with the greatest capacity to be successful in an urban school.

Rhode Island Teaching Fellows – Rhode Island Teaching Fellows (RITF) is a highly-selective alternate route to teaching certification, specifically designed for outstanding individuals who do not have a background in education but want to become teachers in Rhode Island’s high-need public schools.

St. Anthony Indian School – The school is willing to help untrained teachers attain their license to teach in New Mexico during the school year.

St. Paul Teaching Fellows – This programs seeks outstanding candidates to teach math, science, bilingual elementary education and special education. You have the ability to leverage your experience, knowledge, and record of achievement to work with the diverse children of Saint Paul to set the course for their academic success.

Teach For America – A national teacher corps of outstanding recent college graduates who commit two years to teach in under-resourced urban and rural public schools.

Teach Kentucky – Opportunity for recent graduates to gain experience teaching and earn their Masters of the Arts in Teaching From the University of Louisville College of Education and Human Development. Offers relocation incentives as well as in-state tuition savings.

TeachNOLA – As a teachNOLA Fellow, you will use your experience, knowledge, and record of achievement to improve the lives of the city’s neediest students. You will also become part of a powerful network of education leaders working to build a model for urban education reform.

Urban Teaching Fellowship – Shady Hill School offers two Urban Teaching Fellowships to individuals who are committed to public education and interested in a dual apprenticeship in an independent and public school.
