Industry Road Trips

Industry Road Trips are just one way for students to network with alumni and employers around the country in an area of interest. Through these trips, students get to experience what it may be like to actually work in a specific industry! The Greene Center is excited to provide students with these opportunities to explore career options, learn about skills and competencies needed in various sectors, build their networks, and explore internship options.

Through these trips, students will be able to:

  • Develop connections with alumni and others as a method of career exploration, professional network expansion, and preparation for internship and job searching.
  • Deepen their knowledge of career options – especially the competencies sought after in the field, the importance of culture in their decision-making, and the varied career opportunities that may be available to them - through research prior to event and through engagement with hosts
  • Learn about the industry sector from the perspectives of diverse organizations and professionals.
