The Department
of Art and Art History offers courses in art history and in studio
arts, which may lead to a B.A. degree with a concentration in Art
History or Studio Arts. Each program provides a basis for graduate
study and professional training for those students who wish to pursue
careers in the arts, and a sound liberal education for those students
whose final degree will be the Bachelor of Arts. The Department
encourages students to pursue off-campus study by doing internships
and study abroad programs.
