FACULTY POSITION
Assistant Professor of Biology
The Department of Biology at the University of Rochester is continuing its major hiring initiative. This year we intend to fill a tenure track position at the junior level in Cell, Developmental, and Molecular Biology. Highly qualified candidates in all areas, including but not limited to functional genomics, developmental and cell biology, and/or biochemistry, are encouraged to apply.
The Department offers a supportive academic environment that promotes interactions across the life sciences. Our research and graduate programs are integrated into a larger research campus, which includes the School of Medicine and Dentistry, and the Departments of Physics, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Sciences, and Cognitive Sciences.
