October 1st and 2nd, 2009
The Visual and Cultural Studies Program at the University of Rochester will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2009. We will be celebrating the achievements of the past and embracing the future with the topic—Visual and Cultural Studies: The Next 20 Years. This two day event will be held on Thursday, October 1st and Friday, October 2nd.
This conference is a part of the Visual Arts and Cultures Cluster of The Central New York Humanities Corridor, made possible by a grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. The Corridor is a large-scale partnership with The University of Rochester, Syracuse University, and Cornell University that connects scholarship in five other cluster areas: philosophy, linguistics, religions and cultures, musicology/music history, and humanities
