Undergraduate Studies

Undergraduate students at Rochester base their studies on their individual interests. We help guide them as they pursue a liberal arts education that dovetails with their specialized area of study. As a result, they learn to prioritize their interests while taking pride in their decisions.

Through the Rochester Curriculum, students at the University of Rochester enrich their chosen major with courses in other disciplines. Many choose minors and second majors and earn interdisciplinary certificates in complementary fields. This flexibility is further reflected through our bachelor’s degree requirements, which focus on credits and areas of study instead of required courses.
