This leadership group chaired by Francis Price ’74, ’75S (MBA) is comprised of ALANA alumni from various class years and regions of the country.

The goal of the MAAC is to increase connections to, interact with, and encourage the involvement of some 4,000 identified alumni of color to ensure that they are woven into the fabric of the University.

  • Council members work on three subcommittees to provide guidance and support to alumni relations:
  • Volunteering Subcommittee whose mission is to suggest and develop mechanisms to encourage increased participation of ALANA alumni in career, admissions, and student mentoring volunteer opportunities.
  • The Kearns Center Subcommittee whose mission is to advise on fundraising strategies for the Kearns Center and to identify and encourage alumni to provide internship opportunities and to identify role models for Kearns Scholars.
  • Programming and Communications Subcommittee whose mission is to generate and develop ideas for programming and to develop tools for increased communication with ALANA alumni.
