Recognition Societies
The George Hoyt Whipple Society recognizes donors who support the School of Medicine and Dentistry with an annual gift of $1,500 or more. Annual giving helps to ensure that the School of Medicine and Dentistry can continue to rigorously prepare physicians and scientists in the traditions that are the hallmark of a Rochester education. The George Eastman Circle acknowledges individuals who provide leadership support to any of the University’s schools or programs through unrestricted annual giving. Annual unrestricted gifts are especially valuable because they provide the fiscal flexibility that allows the University and School of Medicine and Dentistry to address immediate priorities, respond to the demands of the changing environment, and enhance programs not covered by the endowment or other sources of income.
Membership is granted to supporters who make a five-year commitment of $1,500 or greater allowing for continual annual support that is critical to the University of Rochester and School of Medicine and Dentistry.
