- Alumni Travel and Learn Program
- The travel program offers discounted travel around the world. To obtain travel destinations and dates, visit our Travel and Learn Program web site.
- Bookstore
- Alumni can visit the campus bookstore in the Frederick Douglass Building or shop online for their favorite Rochester merchandise.
- Dining
- The Meliora is open to alumni for lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. and for dinner on Friday evenings twice a month. It is also available for catered affairs. For Friday evening dates, reservations, closings, and more information, please call (585) 275-0852.
- Goergen Athletic Center
- The R Club offers membership for faculty, staff, alumni, non-alumni, donors, and part-time students at a yearly fee of $192 for a single membership, plus $102 for a spouse or an additional person under 22 years of age. Children four and under are free. Membership provides access to the entire complex, including pool, fitness center, track, basketball and tennis/racquetball courts, and optional participation in any of the organized programs offered through Recreational Sports. - Tuition Discounts
- Alumni may deduct $100 from the cost of each credit-bearing course, whether audited or taken for credit. Alumni who are senior citizens may deduct $200 from the cost of each credit-bearing course. These discounts apply to non-matriculated students only. Call (585) 275-2344 for more information.
- Office of Special Programs and Part-Time Studies
- This office offers a variety of unique courses and certificate programs, as well as volunteer opportunities for youth, adults, parents, educators, and senior citizens. Youth programs such as the Young Entrepreneurs Academy, Rochester Scholars Jr., and a Taste of Rochester for high school juniors and seniors are also available. - Libraries
- Alumni have borrowing privileges at the University libraries, which have holdings of more than 3 million volumes. Alumni can borrow materials from River Campus libraries by completing a library borrower's application at the main circulation desk of the Rush Rhees Library and presenting a valid Alumni ID card. For information on borrowing privileges at the Sibley Music Library, the largest music library affiliated with a college or university in the United States, please call (585) 274-1350.
- Computer/Software Sales
- Alumni, staff, and students may take advantage of the educational discount available through ITS Computer Sales, the University of Rochester computer store. All store items are at a discount compared to retail prices. A University ID is required to make a purchase. Please call (585) 275-8353 or visit the online store.
- Meliora Weekend
- This fabulous annual on-campus celebration, held in October, combines Reunion, Homecoming, Regatta, and Family Weekend. For a complete listing of speakers and programs, visit the Meliora Weekend web site.
- Online Alumni Community
- Stay connected by joining our Online Alumni Community. Once you have registered, you can search for friends and make new connections. You can also update your personal information and submit a class note. The Online Community is free and open to College alumni only.
- E-Mail for Life
- As a member of the Online Alumni Community, you are entitled to an @urgrad.rochester.edu address that will never expire and will forward your mail to any account that you choose. Join the Online Community today.
- On-Campus Parking
- Occasional visitors to River Campus should stop at the River Campus Visitors Booth on Wilson Boulevard. Present your Alumni ID card for a free one-day per month parking permit. The occasional parker will receive two passes per month from the parking office. More frequent visitors should contact the parking office at (585) 275-3983 for information on visitor permits. Parking is also free after 7 p.m. Monday–Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday in any parking space or meter that is not marked "reserved."
- Career Center
- The Career Center has many resources available to students, faculty, and alumni, including resume and cover letter assistance, connections with companies and other alumni, regional networking events, graduate school advising, resource library, and more. - Rochester eProNet
- Rochester eProNet is the FREE online recruiting and career management network that connects Rochester alumni with opportunities at the world’s most desirable companies. To use Rochester eProNet, either as an alumnus/a or as an employer, visit the eProNet web site.
- Activities Connection
- Discounts for activities and services are available to all University staff, faculty, and alumni. Available discounts include sporting events, car washes, entertainment books, movie tickets, amusement parks, ski passes, cell phones, hotels, rental cars, printing services, dry cleaning, select sightseeing tours, and more.
