Technology Support


Event and Classroom Management (ECM) works closely with University Information Technology to provide IT-related services for classes, events, and conferences on the River Campus or as part of Arts, Sciences and Engineering.

ECM provides a list of rates and charges for its services, which include:

  • Conference calling and video conferencing options
  • Room rentals
  • Equipment rental
  • Computer support

Equipment Charges

Equipment is available to rent à la carte on a per-day basis. Expendable or consumable items are charged on a per-unit basis. 

Service Charges

Some services are available at an event-based price. Service requests that are considered late incur an additional service charge calculated as 30% of the total charges for the event (minimum of $8).

Cancellation Charges

Cancellations must be received at least 48 hours prior to your event. However, in spite of cancellation, charges may still be incurred.


ECM sends invoices via email approximately every two weeks, depending on our event volume. Invoices are always sent to the client contact listed on the reservation. Payment is due 30 days after the invoice is sent.
