Purpose
Fundación Iberdrola announces new scholarships for the 2013‐2014 academic year for Master's debree studies at the University of Rochester and the University of Maine in the following areas of knowledge:
Renewable energy
• Sustainable energy system
• Environment and biodiversity
• Clean combustion technologies, emissions management
• Energy efficiency
• Energy storage
• Electric vehicle
• Smart distribution networks
Other Eligibility Requirements
1) Applicant must be of Spanish, British or US citizenship.
2) Students must be currently enrolled in UR energy-related graduate program or completing a bachelor's degree in May 2012 with the intention of pursuing a Master's degree in an energy-related field
3) Only Master's degree candidates are eligible
4) The student must be doing work towards sustainable energy.
Recommended Candidate Qualities
Outstanding academic record: GPA higher than 3.5 for US universities citizens.
Amount
Full cost of enrollment with no limit and a $25,200 annual allowance for maintenance and material. For students that need to fly round-trip across the Atlantic, the Foundation will provide a travel grant of $1,900.
