English as a Second Language (ESL) Course for Arts, Sciences, and Engineering Graduate Students
Because the primary aim of this course is to teach you how to speak English, the final exam will be oral in nature. It is not accurate to test speaking skills by giving a writing test.
The review session for the exam will be on the 2nd, and the exam itself will be on the 4th. Please review the study guide.
This is the schedule for the final exam:
Section 1 (CRN 18511):
Section 2 (CRN 18525):
Anny De Lafont
Each student will have about 7 minutes to answer the oral questions (study guide will be posted here).
Please come at the assigned time. Being severely late counts are non-attendance. I can reschedule your assigned time only if there is an academic conflict, but only with advanced written (emailed) notice. Otherwise, you must show up to take the exam to pass the course unless there is an emergency/documentable illness.
Please contact me with any questions.
December 2nd will be study exam review day
December 4th -- Homework 8 is due before the start of the course
