Fellowship Opportunities for Graduate Students
The fellowships described below are sponsored by the US federal government, foreign governments, and private philanthropic organizations; they provide funding based on academic merit and other criteria to support advanced study or research in the U.S. and abroad for graduate students at all stages of their program. Note that formal University of Rochester endorsement is required for some of the fellowships listed below. In these cases, prospective applicants must contact the Fellowships Office, located in the College Center for Academic Support (CCAS, Lattimore 312, 5-2354, E-mail). Also note that some of these fellowships may have applications that are due as much as a year in advance.
