Graduate History Society

Formed in 2009, the Graduate History Society (GHS) serves to represent the interests of the history graduate students to University of Rochester faculty, staff, and administration; to enrich the intellectual and social life of the graduate students; and to promote historical studies at the University of Rochester and in the surrounding community. Membership is open to all graduate students enrolled in the University of Rochester Graduate History program.

GHS organizes several brown bags, a professional development workshop series, and an annual graduate conference. The conference has featured graduate students from the United States, Canada, and Europe.
