SEAS Xerox Engineering
Research Fellows

The Xerox Engineering Fellows program is designed to provide engineering undergraduates with an opportunity to participate in a research experience in the Hajim School of Engineering and Applied Sciences during the summer preceding their senior year.  This research will continue through the fall and spring semesters of the student’s senior year, for which they will receive course credit.  The newly launched competitive program will include faculty and students from all departments within the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and the Institute of Optics.  
 
Fellows will be selected in the spring semester of the junior year. Selection criteria include research interests, competitive academic performance, and intellectual ability and curiosity. Stipends and housing will be provided to student participants during the summer through the office of the dean.  The selection of Xerox Engineering Fellows is highly competitive and will provide a unique and distinguishing research intensive experience.  Applications will be accepted from students majoring in one of the programs listed below:

Eligibility: To be eligible for this program you must be a University of Rochester junior majoring in any of the Hajim School of Engineering and Applied Sciences departments listed.
