Study Abroad Expo 2012

The Study Abroad Expo is designed to help students learn more about the many overseas opportunities available to them. This year it is being co-sponsored by the the McNair Program, along with the Center for Study Abroad, the Hajim School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, the Office of Minority Student Affairs, the office of the Dean of Freshmen, and the Office of the Dean of Sophomores.
The Expo features study abroad programs with which the University of Rochester has formal affiliations. There are information tables for all UR study abroad programs, as well as other semester, year, and summer international opportunities. There will also be numerous study abroad returnees on hand to provide peer advising as they share information and advice based on their own overseas studies. Finally, representatives from the Financial Aid Office, the College Career Center, and other departments will be available to advise students about how study abroad can fit in to their overall University career.
