The SEAS Xerox Undergraduate Fellows Program is purposed to provide engineering undergraduates with an opportunity to participate in a research experience in SEAS during the summer preceding their senior year. Additionally, students will receive independent study course credit for the continuation of their work during the fall and spring semesters of their senior year. This program is designed to include faculty and students from all engineering departments and the Institute of Optics.

The selection of SEAS Xerox Undergraduate Fellows is highly competitive and will provide a unique and distinguishing research extensive experience. Fellows will be selected in the spring semester of the junior year. Selection criteria include research interests, competitive academic performance, and intellectual ability and curiosity. Stipends ($3600), housing, travel (if necessary) and a limited meal plan are provided to student participants during the summer, through the office of the dean.

The goal of the program is to have a minimum of 30-40% of our engineering undergraduates participating, and continuing on, in the field of research into graduate school.
