Minor in American Studies

The American Studies minor allows for the rich exploration of American history, culture, and social life within an interdisciplinary framework. The minor requires 6 courses.  At least four of the courses in the minor must be in either the Humanities or the Social Sciences.

Students who complete at least four courses in the Humanities may count the minor toward their Humanities requirement in the Rochester Curriculum; students who complete at least four courses in the Social Sciences may count the minor toward their Social Science requirement in the Rochester Curriculum.
