Young Entrepreneurs Academy
Know an aspiring entrepreneur currently in grades 5-11? Consider the Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!). YEA! is an intensive nine-month program that teaches middle and high school students how to start and run their own real businesses. Students brainstorm business ideas, write business plans, file DBAs, design a company brand and logo, pitch their businesses to potential investors, and actually launch their businesses.
YEA! is held both at the University of Rochester and SUNY Geneseo. Students living in Monroe, Ontario, Orleans and Wayne counties should apply to YEA! at the U of R and students living in Genesee, Livingston, Seneca, Wyoming and Yates counties should apply to YEA! at SUNY Geneseo.
