About movie

A 10-year-old girl runs away from home and finds shelter with the caretaker of a deserted farm who was her tutor some time ago. He notifies her parents, but makes it impossible for them to reclaim their child. To him, the best idea is to persuade the girl to return home of her own will. But the long negotiations with the stubborn girl eventually fail. The caretaker - determined to unite the family - decides to part with her and leave. He prepares his friend for their parting, and teaches her how to reconcile with the transients of things.
