PhD (Education), Rochester, 2011; JD, Cornell, 1991. Law, health care, medical ethics education, medical judgment and decision-making, and bioethics. Current research explores coaching as a form of instruction and as a component of medical ethics education and issues in applied ethical decision-making in health care. Previously, she held a Clinical Ethics Fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical School. She co-founded and served as Director of the Computer Policy and Law Program, Cornell University (now the EDUCAUSE/Cornell Institute for Computer Policy and Law).
